Akshay Krishnamachari oversees global consulting operations for SAI, with oversight of various key functions within the organization, including HR, IT, Consulting Operations, and Secondary Research. His areas of responsibilities include management of key operational initiatives, including M&A integration, personnel utilization, and resource allocation; and strategic organizational projects such as systems and IT infrastructure upgrades.

He was instrumental in the creation of SAI’s TheraTraQ division in 2019, establishing a research support center in India and building up SAI’s team in India to almost 50 people. He also played a key role in developing the IntelliTraQ and SupplyTraQ product offerings within the TheraTraQ division.

Mr. Krishnamachari joined SAI in 2011 to lead its LCM practice, supporting clients in the generics/biosimilars/manufacturing and supply chain project space, and continues to lead project teams in this practice. Mr. Krishnamachari graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with an MS in biotechnology and has a BS in biotechnology from Anna University in India.
